Our team at Pacific DAS is a talented group of professionals with over 85 years of experience in wireless communications. We specialize in the design, installation, maintenance, and testing of the ERRCS (Emergency Responders Radio Coverage System). The Pacific DAS team has designed and installed over 400 Emergency Responders Radio Coverage Systems.
ERRCS is an in-building requirement in many municipalities around the country. It was designed to improve radio and data coverage to assure that the Police, Fire, and EMT professionals can communicate with their departments and team members via their radios anywhere inside the building. We live in a world that is completely dependent on wireless technology. Unfortunately, many older buildings and underground parking garages don’t possess clear radio and cellular signal strength. That’s where we come in. We design, install and maintain the ERRCS in both new and existing buildings.
In addition to ERRCS, we also install DAS (Distributed Antenna System) to enhance the coverage and capacity for cell phones in buildings. This includes both commercial and multi-family residential structures. A DAS can enhance voice and data coverage and capacity in these large buildings, providing mobile workers and residents with a service they have come to rely on.
The Pacific DAS team has unique and extensive wireless experience, the kind that can only come from 4 decades of working in the industry. Our knowledge of local codes and procedures combined with our experience allows us to complete projects on time and efficiently. We are a certified California Small Business Enterprise (SBE), an Alameda County Small, Local Emerging Business (SLEB), and hold Certifications in iBwave RF Design, FCC General Radiotelephone Operators Licenses (GROL), PC-Tel Test Equipment, and Manufacturers Certifications for equipment maintenance and installation. Pacific DAS is located in Pleasanton, California, and services all of Northern California.
Bob is the Founder and President of Pacific DAS, he started the company in June of 2019. Bob has been in the wireless industry for over 40 years, beginning with 22 years at Motorola where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, corporate account management, sales management, and training. He remained in the wireless sector in the indirect channel after leaving Motorola, allowing him to broaden his wireless offerings into other products and services, including extensive exposure to the Public Safety communications market. Bob became a significant influencer in the DAS market in Northern California when jurisdictions began to adopt ERRCS into their Fire Codes in 2013 and have managed hundreds of projects serving millions of square feet of office, residential and educational coverage.
Bob is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Economics and resides in Danville with his wife Cheryl.
Mr. Lockie has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific DAS since its inception in June 2019. He is responsible for all finance, accounting, tax, IT, risk management, and human resource functions.
Mr. Lockie has over 40 years of real estate and construction business experience which has included: 7 years at EY as their West Region Business Development Executive for the Real Estate, Hospitality, and Construction market segment; 5 years as a Vice President in the Real Estate practice of Woodruff-Sawyer, one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the nation; 18 years as a financial executive in the real estate industry which included 8 years as Vice President-Controller of San Francisco based Catellus Development Corporation, a $4 billion publicly traded REIT. Prior to Catellus, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Kimball Small Properties (KSP), a San Jose, California real estate developer and property manager. Prior to KSP, Mr. Lockie was an Audit Manager for EY-San Jose.
A 1981 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (B.S.-Accounting, cum laude), Mr. Lockie is a New York State Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and also serves on the Board of Directors and is Audit Committee Chairman of G.W. Williams Co. a privately-owned $1 billion, San Mateo, CA-based company who owns and manages a diversified real estate portfolio in several markets across the United States.
