Maintenance and Inspection

Please call or click here if you have questions or would like to schedule an annual inspection.

Maintenance & Inspection

California Fire Code Section 510.6 requires that the ERRCS be maintained operational at all times. The system must be inspected and tested annually, and an inspection report sent to the fire code official.

Pacific DAS offers an annual inspection that includes verification of all system settings, a backup battery test, and a full building coverage test. In addition to the annual inspection, we offer maintenance plans that include extended equipment warranties and unlimited service calls. This allows you to accurately budget for all system maintenance in the future.

ERRCS/Public Safety Radio Enhancement Inspections

Our team at Pacific DAS will inspect your building per the standards set forth in California Fire Code Section 510.6.1, which includes the following:

  • A complete in-building coverage test
  • Equipment settings are validated to ensure they are the same as originally installed, or set to optimize the performance of the system
  • Backup battery load test
  • Active components are inspected to ensure they are operating within manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Submit a test report to the building owner and fire code official.

Maintaining Your ERRCS

It is our goal to ensure that your ERRCS system is properly maintained to ensure the safety of the occupants, our firefighters, and first responders. Our maintenance plans include the required annual inspection and offer extended warranties to safeguard the integrity of the equipment. In addition to that, we offer unlimited service and alarm response calls. The maintenance plan allows you to budget for all expenditures related to your ERRCS, ensuring there are no surprise charges.
